Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I take my dog on the tour?

A: In principle yes, but dogs are not allowed in the rooms, especially in the huts. Further, it must be noted that, as often seen in Graubünden, on some sections of the hiking trail network along the Rätikon, herds of sheep graze, which are guarded by guard dogs. Please pay attention to the zones and the official recommendations.

Q: Is the tour also good to do with children?

A: Absolutely, if they are used to hiking and can cope with the camp accommodation.

Q: Is there any possibility to shorten the tour?

A: On the 1st partial stage (Alp Ascharina) and on the last stage (from Schesaplanahütte) it is possible to go down on a scooter.
