Back to result list Avalanche and ski touring course 2 days in St. Antönien Description These courses offer you the opportunity to build up or expand your knowledge in avalanche awareness. During the course, you will learn the basics of avalanche awareness and how to use your safety equipment in theory and practice. The two days offer the opportunity to deal with the complex matter in greater depth and provides a solid basis for safe movement in deep snow. In the area around St. Antönien we find ideal terrain for an avalanche course. Program for course Meeting point 1st day 8.30 a.m. Rätikon Sport in Küblis (onward journey to St. Antönien will be organized by car in groups) 1st day Meeting point at Rätikon Sport in Küblis, check equipment Journey to St. Antönien Ascent to Partnun to the Berghaus Alpenrösli Training in the terrain Avalanche theory Overnight stay in Berghaus Alpenrösli in Partnun, St.Antönien 2nd day Tour in the terrain Avalanche rescue exercise Return journey to Küblis Closing of the course at about 4 p.m., followed by individual return journey Requirements Stamina for 2 to 4 hours of leisurely walking, basic skiing knowledge Dates winter 2022/23 in preparation Costs CHF 480.- per person Participants The ski tour takes place with a minimum of four persons, max. six persons per mountain guide. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the participants will be informed the day before at the latest.
