St. Antönien, the first mountaineering village in Switzerland, is a real Eldorado for fantastic snowshoe tours in the Rätikon. Every day we are out and about in the snowy valleys around St. Antönien. The trained snowshoe guide not only knows the most beautiful routes, but can also tell you a lot about nature.
The tour starts at 9 a.m. at St. Antönien Platz and ends there at around 4 p.m.
Requirements
WT2: "Medium/Normal" snowshoe hikes above the tree line. We cover about 550 to 750 meters in altitude at a leisurely pace and are on the road for about 5 to 6 hours.
Important information
The snowshoe tour takes place with two or more participants, max. 7 participants.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the participants will be informed the day before.
Equipment list
Wind- and water-repellent jacket and pants, warm fleece or sweater, gloves, hat, filled thermos flask, sunglasses, sunscreen, possibly gaiters, mountain boots (moon boots are unsuitable), one backpack per person (approx. 30 liters), lunch
