The destination of this snowshoe tour is particularly rewarding, because there we build a table and benches out of snow and treat ourselves to a delicious fondue. While doing so, we enjoy the magnificent view and a glass of wine.
We start at 9 o'clock in the morning in St. Antönien, the first mountaineering village in Switzerland. A true Eldorado for snowshoe tours! The local snowshoe guide Dominik Karrer knows virtually every tree and every path here. Step by step, thanks to the snowshoes light-footedly carried by the snow cover, the way goes gently uphill. Once at the summit, the local cheese fondue tastes even better in the midst of nature with the most beautiful panorama...
At 4 p.m. the group is back at the starting point.
WT2: "Medium/Normal" snowshoe hikes above the timberline. At a leisurely pace, we cover approx. 500-750 meters in altitude and are on the move for approx. 5-6 hours.
The snowshoe tour takes place with a minimum of four participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the participants will be informed the day before at the latest.
Wind- and water-repellent jacket and pants, warm fleece and sweater (enough warm clothing), mountain boots (moon boots are not suitable), gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, one backpack per person (approx. 30 liters), possibly gaiters.
If you would like to extend your stay in the Prättigau or arrive the day before, you can select and book your accommodation in St. Antönien directly here.
