With 58 intact alps, the pretty Prättigau is one of the largest alpine regions in Graubünden. One of these alps is the Kuhalp Grüscher Älpli and lies at 1,631 m above sea level below the well-known "Swiss Gate" on the Rätikon. The Grüscher Älpli is run by the Hinter-Tamunt/Grüsch alpine cooperative with about 145 dairy, suckler and gilt cows. The cows of the Beck farming family from Grüsch also spend the summer on the Grüscher Älpli. The Beck family sells alpine cheese from the Grüscher Älpli and is happy to receive subscription orders. An alp cheese subscription includes at least 4 deliveries of alp cheese at 1 kg per delivery (CHF 23.-/kg, excl. shipping costs). Alp cheese fans can also order 2 kg per delivery (CHF 22.-/kg, excl. shipping costs). Delivery is made after receipt of order, for a different delivery address or a larger order quantity please use the field "Special requests" in the order process.
