Rheinschlucht hiking

Description

The Rhine Gorge is a unique natural landscape between Reichenau and Ilanz. It offers untouched nature and is an important habitat for the animal and plant world. So that this can be preserved, the Rhine Gorge Rangers have taken on an important task. Experience the Rhine Gorge in the company of a ranger, immerse yourself in a natural jewel and let them explain to you how to move considerately in nature. The hike starts in Laax village, along the Val da Mulin to Valendas-Sagogn, where the most famous section of the Rhine Gorge begins, all the way to Versam. From Versam you can comfortably take the Rhaetian Railway to Reichenau. After a short stop at the confluence of the Vorder- and Hinterrhein, you return to the starting point by post bus.
