"We arrived late on Saturday night after 12 hours of travelling. The location was perfect for stepping out of the train station, just a 3-4 minute walk away. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was delightful - I just wish we'd stayed longer to enjoy the views from our 4th floor balcony. Our early start on Sunday morning to catch the Bernina Express meant getting up in the dark again. Breakfast was a substantial buffet and tea was provided in a tea pot."

You have a choice of many lovely S. restaurants nearby and plenty of shops t. buy everything you need. "I only stayed one night before catching the Bernina Express and it is located extremely conveniently for that. All the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. There room was clean and comfortable. I left my kindle behind and they contacted me as soon as they found it... but I was already on the Bernina Express by then, so hopefully they can send it on to me at home ."

"Highly recommended ABC Hotel in delightful Chur, especially if travelling by train. The hotel is a short stroll from the old town and many dining and shopping options. I made a mistake with my booking and the reservations team where extremely helpful in amending the booking. I'd recommend booking direct for best rates. Breakfast was extremely comprehensive and the room very clean. We are two adults and 8yr old child, the Superior Double room accommodated us well with a fold out bed for our son. Thank you fot such a great experience."

"We only got to stay for one night here but it ticked all the boxes. We were visiting to catch the early morning Bernina Express. The hotel is two minutes walk away so perfect location, on the way to the old town.. Despite it being the Chur festival just a few streets away, the hotel was perfectly quiet for a good night’s sleep. Indeed, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Lovely bathroom with everything you would need, even a little vanity box, so typically Swiss to think of everything. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of offerings, all served by very friendly staff. Loved the little cake given to us at departure. It’s the small things that make a stay memorable and this hotel did just that."

"The ABC is directly across the street from the Chur train station and a short 2 blocks from Old Town. It doesn't get much more convenient. It's very clean with all modern amenities. The staff was friendly and informative and although our rooms were not ready (at 11a I didn't expect them to be), we stored our luggage securely behind the front desk and explored Old Town. Breakfast was well stocked with a wide choice and friendly servers. Would absolutely stay there again if I was visiting Chur."

"The location is excellent, the room is cozy, the breakfast is embarrassing. I arrived at the dining room at 0900. There were no eggs, no bacon, the bread was empty. The kitchen worker told me that it would take 15 minutes to make eggs. A hotel that is not cheap, even an expensive one that respects itself, cannot have food stands empty. "I liked the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. I appreciated the fact that we asked for, and were given, the same room (406) as on our previous visit. I liked the calm efficiency of the way the hotel is run. Apart from Chur being an interesting town, it is an excellent base for some spectacular train journeys, and the ABC is in the perfect position, close to the railway station but unaffected by the noise of trains arriving and departing. This was our second visit to the ABC (the first was in 2022); hopefully it won't be our last."

"ABC Chur is a lovely modern hotel, and we were pleased with our stay. That said the amount of hi-tech in the room, whether it is TV, AC, bathroom fixtures is disconcerting. We had to get explanations as to how to work lights, and TV, and from out point of view, neither the toilet or the sink drained adequately. As Americans we are not in favor of the open showers, but understand that that may be becoming a European standard. Again, we were at the hotel during the 2025 heat wave, but it is also disconcerting to an American to have a limit on the AC temp. That is not what we are used to."

"Overall a very pleasant experience. Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast. No meals served other than breakfast but there are plenty of eateries in Chur, albeit that for a lot of them it is necessary to walk up the hill. Our only complaint is that our room, and that of another couple who were waiting to occupy their room, was not available until about 3:30pm. The receptionist said the delay was due to the phone system being changed (we couldn't understand why that would affect getting into the room; but when we did get into the room there was a bowl of fruit, don't know whether that is standard or whether it was because of the delay). Very comfortable bed; good shower."
